Especially for a collection of issues that mostly come down to personal preference. The Surge 2 is a fantastic addition to the PS4 library and will please fans of challenging action-adventure games. One major thing that I noticed when playing, and perhaps the most important factor at the end of the day, was that I simply wasn't enjoying my time with the game. The technical issues currently found in the game, unfortunately, do damage the experience a bit, and so does the fact that, despite the changes, The Surge 2 doesn't offer anything substantially different from the original game.
